you're invited to our 1st ever

mario party showdown

This isn’t just “come hang out.”
We are turning the house into a full-on Mario Party board.
Expect yelling, scheming, snacks, and
more betrayal than a Boo stealing your last Star!

how it works...

16 players, 1 grand prize

tournament

This is a $20 Mario Party bracket: you’ll be matched with 3 randomly selected players, and battle your way to the finals. It’s part strategy, part chaos.

gameplay

We’re playing both Mario Party Superstars & Super Mario Party Jamboree. Each matchup = 1 round = 1 board session with Minigames deciding the coins and stars!

costumes

Nintendo-themed costumes are required. Go big, go weird, get creative... whatever feels like you. Half the fun is seeing what everyone shows up as, so don’t slack.

prizes

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place tournament winners will walk away with cash prizes! We also will award a winner for the Boo Bracket & best costume.

faqs:

Does the Tournament cost money?

Yes — it’s $20 to enter, and it must be paid in advance to lock in your spot. The buy-in goes straight into the prize pool for the winners.

Can I still come if I'm not gonna play?

Of course. The party’s for everyone, not just the players. But you still need to RSVP so we have a proper headcount.

FAQ image

Where is the party located?

At the Winchell's house. If you need the pin, text us directly. Heads up: if the RSVP list gets bigger than expected, we may shift to a larger spot so everyone can play in a timely manner— we’ll let you know in advance if that happens.

FAQ image

What time should I arrive?

First match starts at 6pm. Players need to be on time so the tournament runs smoothly. If you’re just coming to party, anytime after that is fine — just don’t roll in late and miss all the fun.

FAQ image

What should I bring?

If you’re competing: your $20 paid in advance and your costume.
If you’re just coming to party: bring yourself, your costume, and if you want, a
Nintendo-themed snack or drink to contribute.

FAQ image

I don't have a costume. Can I still come?

of course we won't turn you away, but you’ll stick out. Costumes are required — Nintendo-themed if possible — so get creative. It’s half the fun.
